The problem
Second Kid needed to serve buyers and independent resellers at the same time. Product discovery, a deep clothing taxonomy, seller registration, storefront management and checkout all had to coexist without losing the project's bold consumer brand.

Key decisions

Give buyers and sellers distinct routes.
Shopping, account and cart actions serve customers, while joining, vendor accounts and reseller discovery give sellers a separate path through the same marketplace.

Structure a large second-hand catalogue.
Clothing, footwear and accessories use nested categories that support varied inventory while keeping browsing and filtering understandable.

Carry the campaign identity into commerce.
Bold blue typography, photography and playful supporting graphics continue from the homepage into functional marketplace navigation instead of treating brand and shop as separate experiences.
What I built
I delivered the marketplace in WordPress using an XStore child theme and Elementor Pro, with WooCommerce handling commerce and Dokan providing multi-vendor accounts and seller dashboards. The implementation includes structured product categories, search, cart, wishlist and comparison tools, seller onboarding, newsletter integration and responsive storefront pages.
