API tooling
Webman
A lightweight, local-first API client for composing HTTP requests, inspecting responses and organizing reusable collections without an account.

The problem
Common API clients have grown into large cloud products. The useful core is smaller: compose a request, send it, inspect the response and save the work for later.
What I built
I built the Vue 3 and TypeScript interface, Go and Gin request proxy, and a local SQLite collection store. It supports the common HTTP methods, query parameters, headers, JSON, form and raw bodies, formatted response content, timing and reusable request collections, with Docker packaging for a one-command local setup.
- Go
- Vue.js
- TypeScript
- SQLite
- Docker
Result
A focused Postman-style workflow that keeps requests and collections on the developer’s machine
- No account or hosted workspace required
- Structured request and response inspection in one screen
- Saved collections backed by a portable local SQLite database
